Man, 41, Charged With Manslaughter Of Stamford Woman, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been charged with manslaughter in the Sept. 2022 death of his girlfriend following an investigation. Anthony Ray Vines, Jr., age 41, of Stamford, was charged on Friday, Oct. 6 with one count of manslaughter with a firearm for the homicide of Mary Stephanie Guirand.  Guirand was 36 years old at the time of her death, said Capt. Police Asking Public For Help In Fairfield County Shooting Incident Police are asking the public for help regarding a shooting incident in which a residence and a vehicle were hit by gunfire in Fairfield County. The shooting took place on Saturday, May 22, on Avo Street in Stratford in the area of High Park. Police have determined that a stolen Honda CRV, was used during the shooting where a group of juveniles were using the park, said Stratford PD Captain Frank Eannotti. Bridgeport Man Nabbed For Spring Shooting Death Bridgeport police arrested a city man Thursday for the shooting death of another man in May. Detectives from the Bridgeport Police Fugitive Task Force arrested Shardel Ragin, 30, of Asylum Street in Bridgeport for the May 24, shooting death of Willie Nance, 26, of Bridgeport, said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.
