CT Teen Undergoes Emergency Surgery In Third Shooting In 3 Days A 17-year-old Connecticut boy is recuperating after undergoing emergency surgery following a shooting on Tuesday, Sept. 3. It was the third shooting in New Haven this week, police said.  Officers received a ShotSpotter alert around 5:45 p.m. near Sherman and Edgewood Avenues, where they found the boy suffering from a bullet wound, New Haven police said.  Paramedics rushed the teen to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where doctors performed emergency surgery to save his life. 29-Year-Old Man Gunned Down On CT Roadway In Broad Daylight A man walking down a Connecticut city street was killed by a passenger in a vehicle firing out of the window in broad daylight. The incident occurred around 4:50 p.m. in New Haven on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at the intersection of Grand Avenue and East Pearl Street. According to Sgt. Cherelle Carr of the New Haven Police, officers responded to the area after receiving a report of a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, officers located a 29-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body, Carr said.  A crime scene was immediately secured. Officers began to render aid until fire …
