2 Nabbed In Fairfield County Double Homicide Carried Out From Back Of Scooter
Two men have been charged in a drive-by double homicide in Fairfield County that was carried out from the back of a scooter.
The arrests took place in Bridgeport on Wednesday, Aug. 10, exactly one month from the date of the murders.
Jahmir Daniel, age 18, of Bridgeport, and Jack Vaz, age 19, also of Bridgeport, were arrested by Bridgeport Police for the murders of 32-year-old Ramon Peguero, of Hartford, and Kazzmaire Dorsey, age 18, of Bridgeport, said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management for Bridgeport.

The former chief financial officer for the Town of Fairfield has been arrested for allegedly removing files connected to the fill pile controversy after his employment was terminated.
Robert Mayer, 77, turned himself in to Fairfield Police on Friday, Jan. 31 and charged with burglary, larceny and tampering with evidence, said Fairfield Police Capt. Robert Kalamaras.

Fotis Dulos, the estranged husband of missing Fairfield County mother of five Jennifer Farber Dulos, took the stand in a civil lawsuit filed by her mother claiming he owes her more than $2.5 million.
While on the stand Tuesday, Dec. 3, Dulos testified that his late father-in-law, Hillard Farber, was like a second father to him and had loaned him money to help start his luxury home building business, the Fore Group Inc.
His mother-in-law, Gloria Farber, claims Dulos owes her $2.5 million and had stopped paying back loans after the couple separated in 2017.

.A suspicious inheritance note led to the arrest of a Fairfield County man who allegedly attempted to steal his friend’s belongings, police said.
Officers from the Shelton Police Department were dispatched to a Howe Avenue apartment on April 19, where there was a report of an unresponsive man inside the residence.
