Expect Delays: Greenwich Town Party To Impact I-95 Traffic, Local Roads
Greenwich police are alerting residents and partygoers to expect traffic delays and road closures during the annual Greenwich Town Party on Saturday. The event, which draws more than 8,000 visitors, takes place at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park, 100 Arch St., and features a day full of fun events for kids, family-friendly music and lots of great food. Greenwich police are warning residents that all tickets to the annual Town Party are sold out and to beware of counterfeiters who are attempting to sell fake tickets. Tickets to Greenwich's annual Town Party sold out in just minutes Thursday when partygoers found out the headliner for this year's event was iconic Grammy-winning Eric Clapton. "We are thrilled with the overwhelming interest and enthusiasm for the 2018 Greenwich Town Party," said Ray Rivers, the event's co-president, in a statement.
