Escaped Convict Eludes Capture Again In Greenwich Chase, Police Say Police spent hours searching for an escaped convict who was a passenger in an alleged stolen vehicle in Fairfield County. The incident began around 10:47 a.m., Monday, April 5, when a Greenwich Police detective spotted a suspected stolen vehicle in February from Cos Cos Avenue while on South Beach Avenue, said Greenwich Police Captain Mark Zuccerella. The detective put out a call to patrol officers who began looking for the vehicle, Zuccerella said. Teen Caught In Foot Chase After Breaking Into Stamford Home, Police Say One of a pair of suspects who broke into a Stamford home early Saturday morning was caught following a foot chase, police said. Police response to Albin Road in the Cove section of the city just before 5 a.m. after a neighbor reported seeing two men in a Honda Ridgeline acting suspiciously in the neighborhood.
