CT Teen Undergoes Emergency Surgery In Third Shooting In 3 Days
A 17-year-old Connecticut boy is recuperating after undergoing emergency surgery following a shooting on Tuesday, Sept. 3. It was the third shooting in New Haven this week, police said. Officers received a ShotSpotter alert around 5:45 p.m. near Sherman and Edgewood Avenues, where they found the boy suffering from a bullet wound, New Haven police said. Man Accidentally Shoots Himself Behind Popular Restaurant In Fairfield
A man is in critical condition after being shot in the chest in the rear of a popular Fairfield County restaurant. Fairfield Police found the unidentified man around 9:07 p.m. Tuesday after receiving a 911 call from an employee at Wings Over Fairfield, 2075 Black Rock Turnpike, reporting that a man was shot in the back of the building, said Lt. Robert Kalamaras. Police arrived on the scene within seconds and found the man lying on his back in the rear hallway of the restaurant, he said.
