Fugitive Wanted For Striking Officer With Vehicle In School Parking Lot Nabbed, Monroe PD Says A man wanted for allegedly hanging around the parking lot of an area high school approaching students and then striking a police officer with his vehicle when approached has been apprehended. Edwin Galve-Lemus, 32, of Bridgeport, was arrested around 6 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 19, by the Monroe Police Department with the assistance of the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force and the Bridgeport Police Department, said Monroe Police Lt.  Stephen Corrone.  Galve-Lemus was taken into custody on a warrant at a residence on Orchard Street in Bridgeport, Corrone said.
