Son Charged After Father Dies Following Assault In CT A Connecticut man was charged after firefighters responded to a home for medical assistance which turned out to be an assault and a death. The incident took place in New Haven County around 2:50 p.m. on Monday, April 10 in Waterbury at 27 Platt St. Waterbury firefighters responded to the home and found a 67-year-old man who was unresponsive and was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital prior to police arrival on the scene, said Lt. Ryan Bessette, of the Waterbury Police. 15-Year-Old Stabs Parent With Pocket Knife At CT Residence, Police Say A Connecticut teen has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a parent with a pocket knife. The incident took place in Litchfield County around 10:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 24 on Pratt Street. According to Chief William Fitzgerald of the Winchester Police, officers responded to a call for a domestic disturbance at the home and found that a 15-year-old had stabbed a parent with a pocket knife. Four Hospitalized After Stabbing At CT Home Four people were hospitalized following a stabbing incident at a Connecticut home. Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance involving a stabbing at a home on North Street in Hamden at about 6 p.m. on Monday, July 11, according to the Hamden Police Department. Police said four occupants of the home were treated at the scene by Hamden Fire Rescue and then taken to the hospital. Their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening, police said. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
