Dog Rescued From Sewer In Westchester: 'Sweet Boy' Now Up for Adoption A dog who somehow became lost in the sewers of Westchester is now up for adoption after he was rescued by police officers.  The dog, named Leonardo, was rescued from a sewer pipe in New Rochelle late at night after officers from the city's police department noticed that he was underground, the Humane Society of Westchester at New Rochelle said in a social media post on Saturday, April 8.  After finding Leonardo, officers managed to coax him out by sharing their dinner with him.
