Woman Stabs Victim During Altercation At Fairfield County Hotel, Police Say A 26-year-old stabbed another woman during an altercation at a Quality Inn in Fairfield County, police said. The altercation at the hotel on South Avenue in Stratford on Tuesday involved Bridgeport resident Ashley Jackson and another female who attended a party at the location, Stratford Police said. During the fight, Jackson stabbed the victim several times in the neck and chest with a knife, police said. The victim was transported to Bridgeport Hospital and is in stable condition. Fairfield County Man Nabbed After Repeatedly Stabbing Roommate, Police Say A Stratford man is behind bars after stabbing his roommate repeatedly, according to Stratford Police. David Newman, 42, of 91 Gina Circle was arrested after he attacked his roommate on Tuesday, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti. According to Eannotti, the incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. at the residence while the two were arguing and Newman stabbed the rommate with a knife several times in the arm and shoulder.
