Connecticut's 'Best Pizza' Bill Gets Sliced By Lawmakers
The push by lawmakers in Connecticut to make pizza the official “State Food” has officially run out of gas. House representatives voted last month to designate pizza as Connecticut’s state food, bringing it to the Senate, though the bill is now dead after it did not get a vote after failing to make it into a series of laws for Gov. Four Arrested In Wilton During Statewide Warrant Sweep
Nearly 300 wanted suspects - including four in Wilton - were arrested in Connecticut as state and local law enforcement agencies took part in a statewide warrant operation. Law enforcement conducted a statewide warrant sweep operation resulting in the arrest of numerous people wanted on outstanding State of Connecticut arrest warrants.
