It happened around 9:05 a.m. in Middlesex County on the I-91 northbound Exit 20 onramp in Middletown. A 2007 Toyota Corolla veered into the center lane and hit a 2019 Chrysler 300, according to state police. Both vehicles rolled into the grassy median. Fairfield County resident Kurt Hothorn Jr., of Greenwich, died at Greenwich Hospital on Friday, Sept. 23, according to his obituary. He was born in New York City and raised in Scarsdale, his obituary said.  Hothorn graduated from Concordia Prep, and he went on to study at Valparaiso University in Indiana. Stamford Resident Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash Stamford Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that left a city resident dead.  The crash took place around 3:20 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21 in the area of 455 Hope St., said Sgt. Man Charged With Manslaughter In Death Of Two During Crash Nabbed With Loaded Gun, Police Say A Fairfield County man with a long history with the Stamford Police Department, including being arrested for his involvement in the death of two people during a crash, has been arrested again. Jerry Diaz, 20, of Stamford, was arrested by Stamford Police around 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 16, in what started as a call for a harassment complaint at 27 High Ridge Road, said Sgt. Jeffrey Booth. Police: Duo Who Fraudulently Used Credit, Debit Cards At Newtown Stores Believed To Be From NY Newtown Police are asking the public for help locating two men who fraudulently used credit cards at local stores. The men believed to be from the New York area used the cards at several between 1 and 3:30 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 8, said the Newtown Police. Police say the men may be driving a dark Chrysler sedan with tinted windows and New York plats.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer Lorancaitis at 203-426-5841.
