Fairfield County Man Nabbed For DUI Following Crash, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been charged with alleged driving while under the influence after crashing his vehicle and landing on top of a rock wall. Charles Bazelais, age 26, of Stamford, was arrested on a warrant on Friday, Sept. 24 by Darien Police for the incident which took place in May. Officers were dispatched to Haskell Lane for the report of a one-car motor vehicle accident with injuries, according to Sergeant Dan Skoumbros, of the Darien Police.
