A total of 13 people were shot in the incident that happened just after 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at Tops Market on Jefferson Avenue in a Black neighborhood, Buffalo Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia said. Retired Police Officer In Fairfield County Dies At Age 70 A longtime police officer in Fairfield County has died at the age of 70. Retired Norwalk Police Officer John Buchholz, of Broome County, in Endicott, New York, died on Thursday, Feb. 24, said Norwalk Police Department Chief Kulhawik. Buchholz joined the Norwalk Police Department in August 1975 and served for 21 years until his retirement in Nov. 1996.
