Attempted CT Carjacker Found Hiding Under Vehicle, Police Say A Connecticut man was found hiding under a vehicle with a pipe wrapped in a towel after allegedly attempting to pull off a carjacking. The incident took place in New Haven County on  Saturday, April 1 at the CVS at 734 Bridgeport Ave., in Milford. Milford Police responded to the CVS parking lot after receiving word of the attempted carjacking. $100K Winning Lottery Ticket Sold At Milford Store One lucky person claimed a $100,000 prize after buying a lottery ticket at a store in Milford.  The $100,000 CASH5 top prize-winning ticket was sold at Milford Smoke Junction on Sunday, Jan. 22, according to an announcement from Connecticut Lottery.  The store is located at 487 A Bridgeport Ave. (Route 1).   Connecticut Lottery did not reveal any details about who bought the winning ticket.

The incident took place around 2:45 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 9, at the Dunkin' Donuts at 364 Bridgeport Ave., in Milford, said Milford Police Officer Michael DeVito. 37-Year-Old Charged After Falling Through Window Of Popular Sports Bar In Area A 37-year-old man was arrested after falling through the front window of a popular sports bar in the area. Toy Christiansen was arrested Wednesday after police responded to the Crush Sports Bar, 1015 Bridgeport Ave., for a report of property damage, said Milford Officer Joseph Dempsey. When officers arrived on the scene they found that Christiansen, a Seymour resident, had damaged the window after falling into it, he said. He was charged with criminal mischief and released on a promise to appear ticket.

Police responded to the Mobil Mart station at 300 Bridgeport Ave. in Milford for a burglar alarm call around midnight Monday, said Milford Officer Joseph Dempsey. When officers arrived, they found the glass front door smashed and the ATM removed, Dempsey said.
