Man Fights Officers While Violating Protection Order: Cops A 41-year-old New Jersey man got into a fight with multiple Connecticut police officers trying to stop him as he violated a protective order in New Haven County, authorities said.  Jose Valentin Duran-Castillo, of Phillipsburg, NJ, faces several felony charges following his arrest on Friday, Oct. 18, East Haven Police said. Fairfield County Officers Under Investigation Following 'Violent' Arrest, Police Say A police department in Fairfield County is conducting an "active administrative investigation into all actions by the officers" involved in the arrest of a man that circulated on social media. Bridgeport Police said the Sunday, May 2, arrest of Kevin Thomas, age 34, of Bridgeport, is under review after a video surfaced of the arrest in which police had to pepper spray Thomas in order to get him in the police cruiser.
