Man Grabs ShopRite Employee Who Refused Alcohol Sale, Police Say
A Connecticut man got physical with an employee at a local grocery store after he was refused alcohol due to state liquor law time restrictions. Officers from the Milford Police Department were dispatched to ShopRite on Boston Post Road shortly before 10 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18, where there was a report of an antagonistic customer. Police said that the investigation into the reported incident led to the arrest of Milford resident Joseph Pascale, 44, who is accused of allegedly yelling at and grabbing a staff member by the arm when he refused to sell him alcohol. Stamford Restaurant Caught Selling Alcohol Without License
Stamford police seized more than 10 cases of beer from a restaurant that was selling alcohol without a permit during an undercover operation. Stamford police had received information regarding liquor being sold at the Rincon Latino at 449 West Main St., without a permit, said Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin. Agents with the Narcotics and Organized Crime squad investigated the restaurant and found they did not have a liquor license, he said. Store Clerk From Fairfield County Charged With Selling Alcohol To Minor
Clerks at two stores in Northern Westchester were charged with selling alcohol to underage customers in a detail conducted by New York State Police from the Somers barracks on Friday, April 27. A total of 10 establishments were checked during the detail. The two clerks charged were: Danbury resident Nube M.
