Fugitive Wanted On Child Abuse, Burglary Charges Caught In Norwalk A man wanted on child abuse and burglary charges was nabbed at a Fairfield County hotel after being notified he was in the area. New Jersey resident Juan Marales, age 41, of the township of Edison in Middlesex, was arrested in Norwalk on Thursday, Oct. 5. According to Lt. Victim Shot Multiple Times In Bridgeport A person was shot multiple times in Fairfield County during an assault. The incident took place in Bridgeport a little after 9 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 17 in the area of Washington and Highland Avenues. According to Terron Jones, a spokesman for the Bridgeport Police, officers responded to a report of an aggravated assault with a firearm and located the victim. The alleged incident happened in New Jersey around 12:20 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30 at the Chiller Theatre Expo in the Hilton Parsippany. A guard was intervening during an altercation between David C. Knestrick, age 47, of Norwalk, and other patrons when Knestrick stabbed him with a knife, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said. The pursuit, which began in Boonton, ended in a Mahwah park with the gunman and driver in custody and four weapons seized, NJSP Trooper Charles Marchan said. Fugitive Driving Stolen Truck Nabbed After I-95 Crash A wanted fugitive took troopers on a brief chase in an allegedly stolen pickup truck on I-95 while on drugs before crashing in Westchester, New York State Police said. Troopers stopped a driver at approximately 12:35 p.m. on Friday, April 24 on I-95 in Rye, when Portland, Maine, resident Paul Grandmaison, 41, committed a traffic violation.
