Tuesday's afternoon rain and evening thunderstorms forced several postponements in Greenwich High School's varsity sports. Most games have been moved to Wednesday. But with the forecast calling for the rain to stick around, be on the lookout for more postponements.
The boys varsity lacrosse game against New Canaan has been moved to Friday, April 15, because of the threat of lightning. The Cardinals (1-1) will face off against the Rams at 6 p.m.
The boys and girls varsity tennis matches have been postponed to Wednesday, April 13, at 4 p.m. against Fairfield Warde.
The boys varsity track team has moved its meet to Wednesday, April 13, at 4 p.m. against Harding and Westhill.
