The Greenwich Department of Parks and Recreation is offering a clinic to help kids hone their basketball skills. The clinics will be given at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center Dec. 27-31. Boys and girls ages 6 to 9 can register at the Civic Center in person or by mail.
Six- and seven-year-olds will meet from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Eight- and nine-year-olds will have sessions from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The clinic will be taught under the direction of John Czarnecki, who has coached basketball for Greenwich High School, the Greenwich Flames, and boys and girls travel teams.
The five-day clinic costs $100 per child. Space is limited, so those interested are encouraged to sign up soon. For more information, contact the Civic Center at (203) 532-1259 or visit the Town of Greenwich website.
