As expected, the latest winter storm has caused postponements across the board in the FCIAC. Several Greenwich High School sports events have been postponed.
The GHS varsity wrestling team will now have a double-header Thursday. The Cardinals will host Bridgeport Central for a 4 p.m. match. Greenwich will then travel to Stamford High for a 6 p.m. match. Because of the matches Thursday, the match against Brunswick School has been moved to Monday, Feb. 7.
The boys and girls varsity basketball games against Bassick have been postponed to Wednesday. The girls are scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. and the boys at 7 p.m. Stay tuned if weather stays inclement on Wednesday.
The girls gymnastics meet at Wilton has been postponed to a later date to be announced.
