GREENWICH, Conn. – Greenwich native Colin Wilson will play for the chance to win the Stanley Cup after he and his Nashville Predators defeated the Anaheim Ducks 6-3 on Monday.
Wilson, a center, has kept busy this post-season, netting 5 goals and adding 8 assists in only 13 games.
Wilson comes from a long line of hockey players. His father, Carey and his grandfather, Jerry, both played in the NHL.
The Predators await the winner of the Eastern Conference Final between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Ottowa Senators. Pittsburgh leads the series 3-2 and can close the series out with a win on Tuesday.
The Stanley Cup Final begins on Monday, May 29.
