GREENWICH, Conn. -- Triathletes from Greenwich were among the contestants in the Mossman Sprint Triathlon at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk. The athletes swam a half-mile, rode bikes for 12.5 miles and completed the race with a 3.1-mile run.
Jonathan Baxendale of Riverside finished third overall in the race, which had nearly 600 finishers. Zachariah Pratt of Riverside was eighth overall, and third among the elite field. Other top runners from Greenwich, Riverside and Cos Cob included: Joseph Turcsanyi, second in men 30-34; Berk Wheeler, third in men 55-59; Diana Kelly, third in women 25-29; and Susan Williams, second in women 35-39.
