GREENWICH, Conn. ? The conference tournaments are in the books, with Greenwich bringing home a second girls soccer title in as many years. Now Greenwich varsity teams are looking ahead to the state playoffs.
The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference released the brackets for boys soccer, girls soccer, field hockey and girls volleyball today. The girls soccer and volleyball tournaments begin Thursday, Nov. 10, while the boys soccer and field hockey tournaments get underway Friday, Nov. 11.
Here is a look at the schedule for the Greenwich High School varsity teams. Games will be played at Greenwich High School unless otherwise indicated. Times are subject to change. Click on the team names to view the full tournament bracket.
Thursday, Nov. 10
#20 Field Hockey Team at #13 Newtown, Play-In Round of Class L Tournament, 5:15 p.m.
#9 Girls Soccer Team vs. #24 Manchester, 1st Round Class LL Tournament, 2 p.m.
#12 Girls Volleyball Team vs. #21 Fairfield Warde, 1st Round Class LL Tournament, 7 p.m.
Friday, Nov. 11
#17 Boys Soccer Team at #16 Hamden, 1st Round Class LL Tournament, 2 p.m.
