GREENWICH, Conn. Registration for the Greenwich Department of Parks and Recreation co-ed T-Ball will begin by mail only starting Monday, Feb. 27. There will be a separate league for 5- and 6-year-olds. The cost of the program is $87 and includes a team shirt and hat.
One T-Ball league is for children who will turn 5 by April 30. This program will use the tee for hitting throughout the program.
The T-Ball league is for children who will turn 6 by April 30. This program will be a combination of coach pitching and use of the tee.
Children turning 7 by April 30 are not eligible. The Greenwich Parks and Recreation offers a Small Fry program for those children.
The program will meet Saturday afternoons from April 28 to June 9 at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center Field. Each Saturday afternoon, there will be a practice and a three-inning game.
