Greenwich Grad Grabs Volleyball Honor

A Greenwich High School graduate is anchoring the Harvard men's volleyball team this year and leading the Crimson to one of their best seasons in recent years. Going to Harvard means good grades are expected, too.

Dan Schreff, Greenwich High Class of 2008 and a two-year co-captain and defensive specialist, was named to the NCAA's 2011 Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association All-Academic Team.

Schreff was ranked in the Top 10 among association athletes tallying 1.8 digs per set, totaling a career best 128 digs for the season. He was ranked in the Top 25 among NCAA Division 1 athletes nationwide in digs per set. Schreff, a third year varsity athlete, carries a 3.7 cumulative GPA and is a psychology and neuroscience major.
