Greenwich Catholic Tennis Nipped by Hackley

Greenwich Catholic varsity dropped a hard-fought match against visiting Hackley School on Tuesday. In an exciting and well-played match, Martin Corsh took the No. 1 match over Michael Blevin of Greenwich Catholic, 8-4. Michael Ho of Greenwich Catholic served well in a controversial match against a determined and scrappy Paul Bunion of Hackley, losing 8-3. Jorge Gonzalaz of Greenwich Catholic gave it his all in a baseline thriller, losing to Paul Marches of Hackley, 8-3. Greenwich Catholics doubles teams fared well and split matches 2-2 to round out the day. 

This Friday, Greenwich Catholic takes on powerhouse Rye Country Day at home.
