Andrew Dillinger won two individual events, Michael Dustin won one and each swam on two winning relays Tuesday night to lead the Greenwich High School boys swim team to the Class LL championship at Wesleyan University.
The Cardinals compiled 667 points to outdistance Fairfield Prep, which finished second with 480.5. Westhill/Stamford finished third with 476.
Dillinger won the 100- and 200-yard freestyle. Dustin won the 100-yard butterfly and anchored the 200- and 400-yard freestyle relays, both of which included Dillinger. Eric Minowitz also swam on both winning relays. Robert Peterson was the fourth member of the 200 relay, and Matthew Fraser swam on the 400 relay.
Tony Martir added an individual victory in the 100-yard breaststroke for Greenwich. Greenwich was second in the 200 medley relay, Dustin added a second in the 50 free, and Martir was second in the 100 fly. Diver Connor Brisson won his event late last week.
Greenwich swimmers will return to the pool Saturday for the State Open at 2:30 p.m. at Yale. Complete results from the Class LL championships are available on the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference website.
