Brunswick Pushes Its Win Streak to Six

GREENWICH, Conn. — The Brunswick baseball team remains one of the hottest teams in the Fairchester Athletic Association after winning its sixth game in a row. Jack Voigt drove in the go-ahead run in the top of the eighth as the Bruins went on to win 7-5 over Kent in a Major League-length nine-inning game.

Brian Schutzman supplied another solid outing, striking out six in five innings. He did not allow an earned run — all five Kent runs came on errors. Harry Polak got the win in relief for the Bruins, pitching four scoreless innings.

Brunswick (6-2) travels to league rival St. Luke's on Tuesday for a 4:15 p.m. game.
