Whitby Pupils Learn a Lesson Over Holiday Meal

GREENWICH, Conn. – Primary students at Whitby School in Greenwich dressed in Native American and Pilgrim headwear and ate traditional harvest foods at the school’s annual Thanksgiving feast.

The celebration focused on the sharing of foods and cultures between the Native Americans and Pilgrims, adding a real-life dimension to the students’ unit of study on Native Americans.
