The schools were ranked based on four criteria, including student-to-teacher ration, college preparedness, math proficiency and reading proficiency.
Greenwich received a silver medal rating in the study and is the 810th ranked school in the nation.
Greenwich High received a college readiness index of 36.6 based on 40-percent participation in Advanced Placement courses and 35-percent of total students passing the AP exams. The school also received a 4.0 math proficiency rating and a 3.9 reading proficiency rating (out of 5.0).

The top ranked high school in the country was the School for the Talented and Gifted in Dallas.
