School Board Debates Coming Up in Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. – You’ll get a chance to hear the candidates for Board of Education sound off when two groups host upcoming forums in Greenwich.

The Greenwich PTA Council and the League of Women Voters of Greenwich will sponsor candidate sessions Oct. 7 in the Town Hall Meeting Room, from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. The second forum will be held in the Central Middle School auditorium on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Both forums will be open to the public and broadcast by GCTV.

Here is a list of Board of Education candidates who will be on the ballot in November:

• Peter Von Braun (R)

• Anna Saras Povinelli (R)

• Barbara O’Neill (R)

• Marianna Ponns Cohen (R)
