Sacred Heart Gets New Fund-Raising Chief

Convent of the Sacred Heart has named a new director of development. Joan Peterson comes to the Greenwich school with 25 years of experience and will take responsibility for overall development and alumnae efforts, with a focus on fund-raising.

"I am confident Joan's experience and qualifications will make her an effective leader in building on Convent of the Sacred Heart's history of loyal parents, alumnae and friends who are committed to furthering the school's mission in educating girls and young women," said Head of School Pamela Juan.

Peterson has previously held positions at such schools as Brown, Columbia, Yale and the Calhoun School. She is a resident of Newtown.
