GREENWICH, Conn. Congratulations to Parkway School, the winner of a $500 check from Main Street Connect in its Better Schools Bonanza promotion, sponsored by Arthur Murray Grande Ballroom of Greenwich.
The promotion began in late September. Despite a late start, Parkway voters earned the most votes of any elementary school in Greenwich with 624 votes.
Thirty-one Fairfield County elementary schools got at least 500 votes and each received a $500 check.
In total, Main Street Connect will donate $26,500 to the cause of Fairfield County elementary school education. The money goes to each schools Parent Teacher Organization or Association, which will help decide which programs need added support.
