Greenwich Academy's Middle School RoboElite Team #902 brought back a trophy and a Golden Ticket to the state finals from the F.I.R.S.T. Lego Competition in Vernon. The RoboElite placed eighth in the robot portion of the recent competition. The students earned a 10.6 out of 16 for their presentation.
The girls were honored with the TEAMWORK award, one of the three most prestigious awards at the competition. They will advance to the next phase of the competition Dec. 12 at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain.
