Greenwich School Raises Money for PTA and Japan

Greenwich’s Julian Curtiss School hosted its first-ever used book sale last Friday to benefit the school’s PTA. At the same time, the school hosted a bake sale to aid the Japanese Relief Fund for The Red Cross.

Parents and students contributed their gently used books for the sale throughout March. On Friday, students were given the opportunity to visit the school’s Media Center and purchase books for one dollar each.

Japanese families conducted the bake sale with traditional homemade treats of their country.
