The Greenwich Academy Technology Department was recognized in the Apple Exemplary Program, which honors 40 schools across the country each year. Director of Technology Dirk DeLo submitted an application to Apple based on the integration of technologies such as blogs, iWebs and podcasts in the school's classrooms. The award is based on how well schools demonstrate the use of Apple products and how well they teach students the best technological practices of the 21st century.
