The average teacher in Connecticut makes $69,766 annually, said the study printed in the Post and conducted by the National Center for Education Statistics and Jon Boeckenstedt, associate vice president at DePaul University in Chicago.
That ranks Connecticut fourth in the nation, behind top earners in New York at $75,279 annually but well above the national average of $56,383 annually, according to the Washington Post.
