Want To Eliminate A State Regulation, Greenwich? Submission Deadline Nears

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Don't like a state regulation? You can try to get it changed as Gov. Dannel Malloy continues to seek public comments regarding the effectiveness of Connecticut's laws.

The deadline for submission is Dec. 16.

Malloy launched a two-month review period in October, with the goal of making the statutes more streamlined, readable and user-friendly for all citizens, especially small businesses.

“Engaging the public in a conversation about state regulations is an important component in our efforts to make state government more efficient, more transparent and more responsive to Connecticut citizens and businesses,” Malloy said in a statement.

The public can submit comments to the Governor’s Office either by email or through a web form.
