Rep. Himes Talks About Russia & Donald Trump Jr. On 'Meet The Press'

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — As a Democratic member on the House Intelligence Committee, U.S. Rep. Jim Himes says, 'we've seen a lot of contact' between Russia and Trump campaign.

On Sunday's "Meet the Press," host Chuck Todd did an exclusive interview with Himes (D-4th District) about Donald Trump Jr.'s recent appearance in front of the House Intelligence Committee.

In the closed door hearing before the committee, Trump Jr. tried to claim attorney client privilege to avoid describing his conversations with President Donald Trump about his conversations last year with a Russian lawyer, Todd said.

"There's a lot to unpack after each interview as we get deeper and deeper into the weeds on Russia," Himes said on Facebook.
