Kasich Visits Greenwich After MSNBC Town Hall

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Ohio Governor John Kasich managed to squeeze in a stop in Greenwich on March 30 for a fundraiser inside the $27 million mansion of a political bigwig after spending the day eating pizza in Queens, according to the Connecticut Post.

For Kasich it was just another day on the campaign trail for the third-place Republican presidential candidate, whose supporters say his mild manner and moderate politics matches the area's tempered voters, the Connecticut Post reported. His style may play well during the state's presidential primary on April 26, said the Connecticut Post.

Kasich was the guest of investor Ian McKinnon and his wife, Sonnet McKinnon, and 60 supporters, many who paid at least $2,700 to attend the event, according to the Connecticut Post. McKinnon is a founding partner of the investment firm Sandia Holdings LLC and is a large donor to both Republicans and Democrats, added the Connecticut Post.
