More than 30 people were on the deck attached to the residence when it collapsed around 8:40 p.m., Thursday, May 16, said Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz.
Police, fire, and EMS responded to the Londonderry Drive home to find the deck had collapsed sending numerous people to the ground. Police did not say how high the deck was from the ground.
The six injured were treated at the scene, none were transported to area hospitals, police said.
The cause of the collapse is under investigation at this time, and more information will be released at a later date, Slusarz said.
