Police Search For Man Prompted Modified Lockdown At Old Greenwich School

GREENWICH, Conn. — A police search for a man who was fleeing a medical evaluation prompted a modified lockdown on Wednesday morning at Old Greenwich School, according to Greenwich Time.

Officers combed the area for the man, who is known for erratic behavior but is not considered dangerous, Greenwich Time says.

The school was placed in a "shelter-in-place" lockdown until the man was found a short time later and taken to the hospital, Greenwich Time said.
