Police Investigating Greenwich Woman's Injuries

GREENWICH, Conn. — A woman found bleeding in a driveway on the 200 block of Milbank Avenue in Greenwich was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said Monday.

The woman suffered several cuts to an arm and a leg, Lt. Kraig Gray said in a news release Monday.

"The police department is investigating the exact circumstances involving how the woman suffered her injuries but believe that there is no threat to the surrounding community," Gray said.

Early reports indicated the woman had been stabbed

Police were called to the driveway at 6 p.m. Sunday and surrounded the home, but soon determined there was no threat. The woman was taken to Stamford Hospital, where she was admitted.

Police will not release more details until their investigation is completed, Gray said.
