Pedestrian Hit By Car In Greenwich Suffers Serious Head Injury

updated: GREENWICH, Conn. — A Stamford woman in her 30s was in serious condition with head injuries after she was hit by a car at around 9 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Mill Street and Delevan Avenue, police said.

Greenwich Police said the woman, who was walking to work, was taken to Stamford Hospital.

Nearby streets were closed down while emergency responders went to the scene. 

She was crossing from the south side of Mill Street when she was hit by a car traveling east, according to the Greenwich Time. The driver was questioned, but no charges have been filed, Greenwich Time said.
