New Greenwich Firefighter Takes Oath At Town Hall

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Greenwich Fire Department grew by one on Monday when its newest firefighter was sworn in at Town Hall.

Firefighter Will Strain has joined the Greenwich Fire Department. He took his oath on Monday morning at Town Hall.

Will Strain is set to begin the the Connecticut Fire Academy in the coming weeks, according to a post on the Greenwich Professional Firefighters Facebook page.

The group, which published photographs of Strain taking his official oath Monday morning, wished the firefighter luck as he begins his career in the town.

More than 70 people "liked" the images on Facebook or took the time to express their own best wishes.
