GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Greenwich Fire Department released photos of a fallen tree on Friday that hit three cars, caused minor injuries and closed North Street for a few hours.

The large tree went down across the entire roadway, police and firefighters said.

The closure was between Taconic Road and Dempsey Lane due to a large tree in the roadway. Three cars were struck by the tree, and there were minor injuries, police said.
