Greenwich Police say they were issued a warrant for the arrest of Xavier Medel, 19, of Bridgeport after he allegedly involved in a series of car larcenies and a vehicle theft on November 26, 2018.

Investigators were visiting Stamford Superior Court Monday, April 8 at 11 a.m. when officers were advised that Medel would be exiting a Correctional Transportation bus to the Stamford Superior Court House, police say.

Medel was located, identified and made aware of the warrant, which included charges of third-degree burglary and second-degree larceny, both criminal liability for acts of another.

Medel was arrested and taken into custody by the investigating officers. He was unable to post his $100,000 bond and was turned over to Connecticut Judicial Marshals for same day arraignment.
