Greenwich Police Warn That Suspicious Driver Followed Student

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Greenwich Police are warning residents about a Silver Volvo XC60 that followed a 15-year-old foreign exchange student while she was on her morning walk.

On Oct. 10 at 9:30 a.m., a vehicle driven by an older, white, balding man, followed the girl as she walked along Putnam Avenue in Riverside to Valley Road in Cos Cob, police said. The man tired to make contact with her four times, police said. 

The girl said she didn't feel "overly threatened," according to police, but she did think the incident was strange. 

Officers interviewed the owner of a vehicle in Harrison, N.Y., and a male who matched the description, police said. Police will continue to investigate.
