The burglars visited an elderly woman on Arther Street, with one man claiming to be from the water company and asking to enter the home to check the water meter and pressure, Greenwich Time reported.

The man reportedly showed an identification card to the woman before three other men suddenly appeared inside the house, said Greenwich Time.

All four men left immediately after the woman began to shout that she was calling the police, Greenwich Time reported.

The suspects were wearing similar gray outfits and appeared to be of olive complexion, said Greenwich Time.

Anyone with information on the suspected burglars is asked to contact Greenwich Police Department’s Tip Line at 203-622-3333 or tips@greenwichct.org.
